Cassidy Lady Godiva Half Marathon Print E-mail
Cassidy Group are proud to announce ourselves as headline sponsors of the Cassidy Lady Godiva Half Marathon for the next 3 years. Martin Johnson Celebrity Cricket Day 14th July 08 Print E-mail
On Saturday 14th July former England and British Lions hero Martin Johnson led the way as celebrities came together at Rugby School to raise money for a Warwickshire school and the England Schools Cricket Association.  Johnson captained a cricket XI made up of a number of the 2003 World Cup winning rugby players however losing in a competitive match by 47 runs to the world famous Bunbury’s cricket team, at the very place where William Webb Ellis first picked up the ball and created the game of rugby. The day proved to be a great success and £11,000 was raised for charity.

Ashley Giles Cure Leukaemia Celebrity Golf Challenge Print E-mail
Charity patron Ashley Giles and a host of stars from the world of sports and television attented
this years spectacular Cure Leukaemia Celebrity Golf event on Tuesday 19th August 2008 at the
Forest of Arden Championship Course.

A host of stars from the world of sports and television, including Martin Johnson, Don Goodman,
WillieThorne, Iwan Thomas, Dougie Brown, Dave Bassett, Jon Gaunt from Talk Sport and
Stan Boardman helped to create a truely memorable day at the Ashley Giles Cure Leukaemia Golf Day.

Martin Johnson Celebrity Cricket Event Print E-mail
martin.jpg The Martin Johnson Celebrity Cricket Event was held on 14th July 2007 in association with Wooden Spoon, Rugby's charity supporting supporting disadvantaged children and young people, and sponsored by the Cassidy Group.

  This fantastic charity event, held at The Close, Rugby School, the likes of Martin Johnson and many other celebrities were put to the test on this fantastic ground.

The Geoff Thomas Celebrity Golf Challenge was held on Tuesday 29th August 2006 in association with Cure Leukamia and sponsored by the Cassidy Group.

This fantastic charity event was held at the famous Forest of Arden Golf course, just outside of Birmingham, where the likes of Gary Lineker, Ian Wright, Ashley Giles, David Platt were put to the test on the fantastic course.

Cure Leukaemia is a new charity set up to establish and support an innovative leukaemia centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. As well as undertaking world class research the centre will offer treatment and support to some 7,000 leukaemia patients around the West Midlands.
